FARES

Fares are in Canadian dollars per person. Bus portion of price is listed separately and is a taxable service. Currently, 5% GST (Goods & Services Tax) is in effect. The current (prevailing) BC Ferry Fare(s) will be added at the time of ticket purchase and is a non-taxable item. BC Ferries Fuel Surcharges or Fuel Rebates (if in effect) will be processed at the time of payment. Schedules, fares & taxes are subject to change without notice. Travelling times are approximate and are subject to traffic, weather and road conditions. Ticket is valid one year from date of purchase.

Due to safety regulations the departure will be “closed” at five (5) minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

BC (BRITISH COLUMBIA) RESIDENT FARES

BC Residents who travel on our BC Ferries Connector or YVR Victoria Link (transportation services between Victoria & Vancouver) will qualify for this fare category (Adult/Senior/Child). ID which clearly displays the city/town in which you reside in British Columbia must be supported by one additional piece of ID.

CHILD FARE

To qualify for child rates, children must be between the ages of 5 to 11 years inclusive and must be travelling with an adult. For children 0-4 years, their seat is subject to availability; we recommend purchasing an additional seat to guarantee the seat if this is required/preferred.

STUDENT FARE

Students who travel on our BC Ferries Connector or YVR Victoria Link can qualify for a student fare upon presentation of a valid student ID card and one additional piece of photo ID at time of purchase.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

Children/Students must be 15 years of age or older to travel unaccompanied by an adult on BC Ferries Connector

BRITISH COLUMBIA SENIORS (BC SENIORS)

BC Seniors pay 50% of the current adult ferry fare Monday through Thursday, excluding BC Statutory Holidays. BC Seniors do not pay the fuel surcharge Monday through Thursday, except stat holidays.  Please present your BC License or residency card at time of purchase. Reservations for BC Seniors travelling with us between Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays) cannot be booked online.  Please call us at 1-888-788-8840. As of April 2014 payment (TBA) will be required for travel on board BC Ferries.

CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / AMENDMENT

In cases of Cancellation or No-Show for confirmed reservations made within 24 hours or less prior to departure time, tickets are 100% non-refundable. Passengers who wish to revise their departure time may do so without penalty up to 24 hours prior to departure.

BC FERRIES Fares

The prevailing BC Ferries fares will be added to the bus fare, at the time of purchase.
BC Ferry fares are subject to change.

RESERVATIONS

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required for guaranteed boarding. Passengers without reservations will be served on a “first come, first served” basis.

Reservations are required for all services including downtown to downtown, enroute and hotel pick-up; onboard BC Ferries, Cruise Ship (Canada Place and Ballantyne) Services. Passengers without reservations will be served in “first come, first served” order. We cannot guarantee boarding without a reservation, as space is subject to availability.

On board the Ferry: For those customers requiring service between Vancouver & Victoria (or reverse direction) but are purchasing their ticket on board BC Ferries please note that our BC Ferries Connector ticket counter onboard the ferry is open for ticket sales the first 30 minutes of the sailing only. You may purchase your ticket directly from the BC Ferries Connector Driver at the ticket counter.  Note: reservations and prepaid ticket are suggested for this service as seats are subject to availability.  We cannot guarantee that a seat will be available unless a prepaid reservation has been made. Please see your BC Ferries Connector driver for more details.

ENROUTE PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF SERVICE (VICTORIA AND/OR VANCOUVER)

Reservations and pre-payment are required; please ensure reservation is made 24 hrs prior to departure. BC Ferries Connector has specific or designated pickup and drop-off points. Advise driver directly of your drop-off point.

YVR (VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT) TO/FROM VICTORIA

Please check-in at the Pacific Coach Lines ticket counter which is located in the International Arrivals Terminal on the Arrivals level prior to boarding. Bus departure location is located directly outside the terminal, close to the ticket counter. Please refer to our YVR Victoria Link schedule for current departure/arrival information. Some departures require coach transfer at Tsawwassen ferry terminal (driver will handle luggage)

This bus will be operated by Pacific Coach Lines from YVR and will connect with a BC Ferries Connector bus at Tswassen ferry terminal.

Please note the 7:40pm departure from YVR Airport (when operating) terminates at Swartz Bay.

Enroute pick-up and drop off service is also available at the River Rock Casino Resort (located close to Casino entrance), reservations and prepayment required.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  When reserving your transportation from Downtown Victoria to YVR Airport, please consider road, weather and traffic conditions; it is recommended that allowance is made for this when selecting your departure time from downtown Victoria.

The following are the times that airlines require check-in for departure:

International Departures: Three hours prior to scheduled airline departure time
Domestic Departures: One to 1.5 hours prior to scheduled airline departure time

VANCOUVER CRUISE SHIP TERMINAL SERVICE TO/FROM VICTORIA (SEASONAL)

This service is only available for Cruise Ship passengers. Our Cruise Ship Terminal service operates between Canada Place, Ballantyne Pier and downtown Victoria when ships are arriving and departing at the Port of Vancouver. Reservations and pre-payment are required a minimum of 24 hours prior to departure. Advise our driver directly of your drop-off point.

All baggage must be tagged with an appropriate destination baggage tag. We are not responsible for lost or stolen baggage; baggage is the responsibility of the traveler.

Please note: BC Ferries Connector is able to transport items which are “Restricted” onboard BC Ferries; service is available from “depot to depot” only i.e. Downtown Vancouver (Pacific Central Station), YVR (Vancouver International Airport) or Downtown Victoria (Capital City Station). Items include Boxes, Food, Fragile items, Golf Clubs, Skis and Snowboards.

BIKE, SKIS, SNOWBOARDS, & GOLF CLUBS

These items will be accepted for transport on a space available basis and must be properly contained (box or bag). We are not responsible for damages to any equipment that is carried.

  • Bikes in Regular boxes $40.00 (+tax)  
  • Bikes in Oversized Boxes  $50.00 (+tax)
  • Bicycle service is available (with reservations for bicycle) from Pacific Central Station; Capital City Station Victoria Terminal; YVR Airport.

Baggage Storage

Storage is available at Capital City Station in Victoria for short term, full day, and overnight.

Short term (up to 4 hours) – $8 per bag
Full Day (7am – 8pm) – $12 per bag
Overnight (7am to 8pm the following day) – $20 per bag

PET POLICY

We cannot accommodate the carriage of pets. Exception: People with Disabilities (CNIB or DSI card required) service animals accompanying an individual inside the coach. Valid Guide or Service Dog Certification must be presented.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SERVICES

BC Ferries Connector Lines has a limited number of wheelchair lift equipped coaches in its fleet. For passengers who require the service of a wheelchair lift equipped coach, we require reservations and full prepayment AT LEAST 48 hours in advance of the trip. While we will do our utmost to provide this service, the service is subject to confirmation.

Please note due to safety considerations wheelchair lift services are available for embarkation (boarding) and disembarkation at originating departure locations only; Victoria Bus Terminal (Capital City Station), Vancouver Bus Terminal (Pacific Central Station) and YVR (Vancouver International Airport).  For passengers who use non-motorized mobility aids i.e. walkers and are able to board the coach with some assistance, we are able to store the non-motorized mobility aid under the coach. Motorized scooters cannot be carried. We require that you phone us at least 48 hours before your departure to request assistance, and that you be at the depot/terminal no less than 30 minutes prior to departure for boarding.
