Children ≤18 kg (40 lbs): must use approved car seat with lap belt.

Car seats are stored for free if vehicle is not equipped with seatbelts.
Parent/caregiver must provide car seat.

Vancouver
The Vancouver Bus Depot at 1150 Station Street offers in‑person ticket purchases at the BC Ferries Connector ticket counter during office hours, daily from 6:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (Hours of operation are subject to change without notice.)

Victoria
BC Ferries Connector does not operate an office in Victoria. Tickets can be purchased online or by phone.

Last-minute walk-up ticket purchase for departures can be purchased from the driver of the departure on a first-come first-served basis, only at 4 specific locations (restrictions apply).
 
Vancouver Bus Depot 
The driver can sell walk-up tickets during the check-in period 5-25 minutes prior to the departure time. Drivers can only sell tickets for the current departure that you have walked up for and cannot sell tickets for any other departure times or dates. Walk-up tickets are non-refundable, and do not offer any of the discounted rates such as BC Resident rates. Only Adult, Child, and Toddler rates are available for last-minute walk-up tickets.
 
Vancouver International Airport 
Drivers cannot sell tickets at this location, however you can purchase last-minute walk-up tickets from the Universal Skylynx check-in ticket counter at YVR International Arrivals during their daily hours of operation.
 
Victoria Bus Terminus 
The driver can sell walk-up tickets during the check-in period 5-25 minutes prior to the departure time. Drivers can only sell tickets for the current departure that you have walked up for and cannot sell tickets for any other departure times or dates. Walk-up tickets are non-refundable, and do not offer any of the discounted rates such as BC Resident rates. Only Adult, Child, and Toddler rates are available for last-minute walk-up tickets.

  • Children, youth, and students must be 13+ to travel alone.
  • We are not responsible for unaccompanied minors on buses, during transfers, or aboard BC Ferries.
  • Minors aged 13–18 must carry photo ID showing name and birth date to confirm eligibility when checking in with the driver.

No. Round trips must start and end at the same locations.

If your return trip is to a different location, book two one-way trips instead. You can add multiple one-way trips in one transaction by clicking “Continue Shopping” after booking the first leg.

How to Change Your Ticket

No, passenger type cannot be changed after purchase. To change your passenger type you will need to cancel your ticket and buy a new one.

Yes! We offer service on select BC Ferries sailings for reservations and walk-up passengers.

Tsawwassen – Meet bus onboard

  • Book From: Vancouver Pickup: Vancouver -TsawwassenMeet Bus on board Ferry.
  • Pickup time = ferry sailing time (e.g., 11:00 = 11 AM sailing).
  • Ferry ticket not included—buy at BC Ferries foot-passenger desk.
  • Board as a foot passenger and check in with the bus driver within 30 minutes of sailing.

Swartz Bay – Meet bus onboard

  • Book From: Victoria and Pickup: Victoria – Swartz Bay – Meet Bus Onboard Ferry.
  • Pickup time = ferry sailing time (e.g., 17:00 = 5 PM sailing).
  • Ferry ticket not included—buy at BC Ferries foot-passenger desk.
  • Board as a foot passenger and check in with the bus driver within 30 minutes of sailing.

Walk-Up Tickets

  • Sold onboard during the first 30 minutes of sailing, first come, first served.
  • Service available on Tsawwassen/Swartz Bay sailings.

Accessibility

Yes, we have a wheelchair-lift service. You can book this online:
  • Select “Wheelchair Passenger (Wheelchair-Lift Required)” under Additional Services when booking.
  • Book your ticket at least 72 hours before your date of travel.
  • Lift-equipped coaches are limited and only available at certain locations.
  • If unavailable for your route/time, we’ll contact you to adjust your trip or issue a full refund.

Yes, you can bring your motorized scooter.

  • Accepted free of charge if:

Passengers with valid disability ID are eligible for our Accessible Adult or Accessible Child Fare.

Luggage

Yes, you can bring one free checked bag per traveler, weighing 22.5 kg (50 lbs) or less, with maximum dimensions of 61 × 61 × 114 cm (24″ × 24″ × 45″). See luggage guide below.

Carry-on Personal Item:
1 item weighing 20 lbs or less, with maximum dimensions of 43.5 × 33 × 15.5 cm (17″ × 13″ × 6″).

Important: Bus overhead bins are smaller than airline bins. Standard airline carry-ons will not fit overhead. If your carry-on is too large, it will be stored underneath the bus with checked baggage.

Luggage Policy: All baggage must be tagged with the correct destination and include the passenger’s contact information. Please note that the company assumes no liability for lost, damaged, or stolen baggage—baggage remains the traveler’s responsibility.

Account Creation
If you purchased tickets for BC Ferries Connector, VI Connector, Tofino Bus, or Mount Washington Ski Bus, an account was automatically created for you but has not yet been activated.

You need an activation email. Email reservations@gowilsonsgroup.com with:
  • First & last name
  • Email address used for purchase
  • Phone number used for purchase

Our team will send you an activation email. Click the password reset link in that email and set your password.

There are several possibilities:

  • Certain locations are not currently available but still appear in the drop-down list.
  • If you are trying to select a Vancouver hotel pick up, they do not always show as available due to limitations on the number of stops we can make in a single trip- it is possible that the trip is still available, please contact us at reservations@bcfconnector.com
  • The combination of locations you are selecting might not be available due to schedules not lining up.
  • The locations you have selected might be one-way only locations and not be available for round-trip travel. Specifically, the Swartz Bay, Tsawwassen, Douglas & Discovery, and the Hwy 17 at Hwy 10 (Trunk Road) locations, can only be used for one-way trips.

Additional Information

We can not allow pets on our vehicles at this time.
Exception:
  • Service animals for passengers with disabilities are permitted
  • Requirements: Present valid Guide or Service Dog Certification
  • Check “Service Dog” option during booking
Seatbelt Policy
  • Some buses have seatbelts/lap restraints
  • If your bus is equipped, B.C. law requires all passengers to wear them at all times
Important:
  • Drivers will remind you, but you are responsible for compliance.
  • By booking, you agree to:
    • Inform all travelers you’ve booked for that seatbelt use is mandatory
Child Safety Requirements
  • Up to 18 kg (40 lbs):
    • Must ride in an approved CMVSS car seat (provided by parent/caregiver)
    • Car seat secured with lap belt in seatbelt-equipped vehicles
Over 18 kg (40 lbs):
  • Must use lap belt restraint
  • Booster seats cannot be used with lap belts only
If no seatbelts on bus:
  • Car seats will be stored with checked luggage at no extra charge

Missed your departure?
BC Ferries Connector leaves on time. We can not wait for late passengers or delayed flights.

If you miss your bus:
Email reservations@bcfconnector.com and we will assist you in booking the next available bus.

There is no designated parking for our customers.

Reminders:
  • Do NOT park in prohibited spaces at pick-up locations
  • Respect nearby businesses
  • Illegal parking may result in tickets or towing
We are not responsible for vehicles that are ticketed, towed, or damaged.
Lost & Found

Claiming items: Available for pickup during business hours at the location holding the item.

Policy:
  • Items kept for 30 days
  • If we confirm your item, we’ll hold it for 7 days (unless arranged otherwise)
  • Unclaimed items will be donated to charity

    No smoking or vaping allowed on our buses.
    Please be respectful of fellow passengers. Unruly or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the bus. Passengers removed for misconduct will not receive compensation or refunds, and we are not responsible for arranging onward transportation.
