Cross water bus travel between Victoria and Vancouver

Easy, comfortable transfer This was a very comfortable and easy way to transfer between Victoria and Vancouver. We caught the 9-45am bus from the depot with a great driver "Ed"
Easy drive to the port, first on and off the BC ferry, great views on the deck of the islands, even saw an Orca!
From the Vancouver ferry it was an hours drive to downtown (traffic), got off at Fairmount Hotel (central)
Perfect trip at a good price, highly recommend

Great comfortable journey with scenic views Our coach was due to leave from Victoria at 0945. We arrived at 0925 and found a long queue already being processed. Bags were weighed, labelled with the correct destination and we boarded the coach. Although we had QR codes on tickets, only our name was sufficient. We left on time and picked up 2 others en route. We arrived at the ferry terminal and were first on and first off the ferry - one of the perks of the company. The ferry crossing was very scenic, threading through various islands, taking about 90 minutes. After landing our coach stopped at the ferry terminal to transfer the airport passengers, like us, to another coach. There were about 17 passengers.

From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and slickly. we were dropped off at the airport and had only a very short walk to the Fairmont hotel where we stayed the night in the Executive Gold floor, with lounge access, having fabulous views over the airport, before flying to the UK.

We were very impressed and highly recommend this very easy and comfortable way of travelling from Victoria to Vancouver airport.

Fantastic, super convenient way to get from Victoria toYVR airport! You get on the bus in Victoria, the bus is first one on the ferry (great if you want to get in line for food, which I did), and the first vehicle out of the ferry. If you're going to YVR, you transfer to an airport shuttle as soon as the bus disembarks from the ferry (the easiest thing, since the bus and shuttle park right beside each other and the operators take care of the luggage transfer), shuttle takes you straight to departures at the airport. Left Victoria 9:50am, at the airport by 1:15pm, no stress, no delays. The operator was great too: gave clear instructions, had good humour and seemed genuinely positive about helping out travellers, even gave a tiny educational tour of the parts of the ferry that the bus specially goes into. I travel a lot on my own and always try to find the most convenient way to do it and this felt very easy, safe, and dare I say it, even enjoyable? 😁 100% would recommend.

Smooth and slick with great scenery We were picked up together with 5 others at the Westin Bayshore, in front of the lobby, by the coach. The due time was 1015 but it was 45 minutes late - one of the group waiting had rung the company after about 30 minutes and were told they would be with us in about 10-15 minutes and they were. We stopped at a further 2-3 locations to pick up other passengers, then we arrived at the Vancouver Bus Terminal where a bigger group was waiting. Soon we were on our way to the ferry where, after a few minutes, we were driven onto the ferry right to the very front, ie we were first off. The ferry crossing was very scenic, threading through various islands, taking about 90 minutes. After landing our coach carried us the rest of the way to the Victoria bus station where our hotel, Chateau Victoria, was an easy 5 minutes walk away.

From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and slickly. The organisation was good. The guidance on the notes given stated that the bus could be up to 30 minutes late on a weekday so we were not too alarmed by the lateness. Note that we stayed on this coach for the whole journey, except on the ferry where we had to get off.

I just wanted to write about the excellent service and amazing driver, that I just experienced. I was on the 5:00 ferry from Tsawassen, arriving after a long day of flying. The driver dropped us off at the depot in Victoria. There was another woman and myself travelling alone. He phoned for taxis and he waited with us until we were safely picked up and on our way. When I thanked him, he replied that he never leaves women alone at night waiting in that area. He was someone who went the extra mile and a great representative for your company.
