Cross water bus travel between Victoria and Vancouver

Trip to Victoria Easy to access, smooth pick up, travel, and end point; friendly driver. Scenic, efficient, very pleasant ferry crossing.

Took the bus from Vancouver depot to Victoria depot. Driver was amazing (I think it was Ed) and made the trip so much more enjoyable with his anecdotes and information about the ferry (which deck to go, how to get back, etc). Loved his suggestions about getting off to watch the ferry dock (first time for me to see it like that).

This service is exemplary. If you want to get from downtown Vancouver to downtown Victoria the EASY way and you have the money to cover it then this is definitely the way to go. It is a bit pricey but it saves a lot of worry and stress if you don’t know your way around. Our friend who was here for the first time, pre booked and caught the bus from Davie St. and was brought to the ferry and onward to downtown Victoria. Or you could do it on your own for a lot less money and do this. Canada line to Richmond then catch the bus to tsawwassen ferry terminal, then pay for your ticket to Swartz Bay then catch another bus to downtown Victoria. Sounds like fun eh ? Sorry folks but I have no pictures to share.

Easy, comfortable transfer This was a very comfortable and easy way to transfer between Victoria and Vancouver. We caught the 9-45am bus from the depot with a great driver "Ed"
Easy drive to the port, first on and off the BC ferry, great views on the deck of the islands, even saw an Orca!
From the Vancouver ferry it was an hours drive to downtown (traffic), got off at Fairmount Hotel (central)

We left Vancouver for Victoria at 1330 on 28th June. An excellent trip - so easy and the driver was absolutely wonderful, with lots of information and a great sense of humour. Visiting Canada from the UK has been a new experience made all the better by this driver. What a star - thank you.

Great comfortable journey with scenic views Our coach was due to leave from Victoria at 0945. We arrived at 0925 and found a long queue already being processed. Bags were weighed, labelled with the correct destination and we boarded the coach. Although we had QR codes on tickets, only our name was sufficient. We left on time and picked up 2 others en route. We arrived at the ferry terminal and were first on and first off the ferry - one of the perks of the company. The ferry crossing was very scenic, threading through various islands, taking about 90 minutes. After landing our coach stopped at the ferry terminal to transfer the airport passengers, like us, to another coach. There were about 17 passengers.

From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and slickly. we were dropped off at the airport and had only a very short walk to the Fairmont hotel where we stayed the night in the Executive Gold floor, with lounge access, having fabulous views over the airport, before flying to the UK.

We were very impressed and highly recommend this very easy and comfortable way of travelling from Victoria to Vancouver airport.
