Cross water bus travel between Victoria and Vancouver

Friendly drivers, especially James and a convenient way to travel between Van and Vic without a car and faster than transit!

Fantastic, super convenient way to get from Victoria toYVR airport! You get on the bus in Victoria, the bus is first one on the ferry (great if you want to get in line for food, which I did), and the first vehicle out of the ferry. If you're going to YVR, you transfer to an airport shuttle as soon as the bus disembarks from the ferry (the easiest thing, since the bus and shuttle park right beside each other and the operators take care of the luggage transfer), shuttle takes you straight to departures at the airport. Left Victoria 9:50am, at the airport by 1:15pm, no stress, no delays. The operator was great too: gave clear instructions, had good humour and seemed genuinely positive about helping out travellers, even gave a tiny educational tour of the parts of the ferry that the bus specially goes into. I travel a lot on my own and always try to find the most convenient way to do it and this felt very easy, safe, and dare I say it, even enjoyable? 😁 100% would recommend.

Great service with friendly and helpful bus drivers who will explain everything along the way. Got a round trip Vancouver-Victoria and had a pleasant time traveling, no issues, both trips have been on time and smooth.

Took the downtown Victoria-downtown Vancouver bus and it was a perfect travel experience, even with a completely full bus of passengers. Our driver was Ed, and he was a nonstop fountain of tour guide facts and stories about the local histories of both cities while sharing stories of growing up & spending his entire life between Vancouver and Victoria. It was a great ride the entire way & helped pass the time quickly.

Smooth Sailing Post Cruise We were unsure how we would get from our cruise ship disembark to our hotel on Vancouver Island. This transfer was so smooth! No worries at all, no glitches, just right. We would definitely recommend.

Smooth ride to vancouver Great experience, good price. Ferry ride smooth as glass. Tour busses are first on first off. We saw hundreds of cars waiting to get on seems you may have to wait for another ferry if you are back in line. Driver was helpful seats comfortably a little chilly in the bus but not too bad. Ferry is huge food and drinks everywhere from vending machines to full meals in the cafeteria.

Tried this today from YVR to Swartz Bay debarking bus in Tsawwassen and currently waiting for ferry. Much better than transit as the transit buses are always extremely packed and get to skip the line at ticket booth. I will definitely use again.

Trip to Victoria Easy to access, smooth pick up, travel, and end point; friendly driver. Scenic, efficient, very pleasant ferry crossing.

Took the bus from Vancouver depot to Victoria depot. Driver was amazing (I think it was Ed) and made the trip so much more enjoyable with his anecdotes and information about the ferry (which deck to go, how to get back, etc). Loved his suggestions about getting off to watch the ferry dock (first time for me to see it like that).
